In addition to Equifax, there are two other consumer credit reporting agencies, Experian and TransUnion.  It’s always been a good idea to review your credit reports from all three agencies each year, but it’s even more critical given the Equifax data breach.  In addition, Federal law allows you to get a free copy of your credit report from each agency once every 12 months.
